We ended up using a number of Ed's portraits of my little family on our holiday cards this year. After thinking we should do a family portrait for years (in our last one, our youngest was barely out of diapers - he is now 18), I finally asked Ed to take pictures for us. He was awesome! He pre-scouted two locations for us and made the experience enjoyable for the kids (they don't like to get their picture taken and are not usually super cooperative!).The pictures came out great - we ended up with not just a family portrait, but also some solo shots of the kids and a nice one of my husband and I. We had to do this when the kids were home from college, so it was right before Christmas and Ed still processed all of our photos before the 25th, so we could use one for our holiday card.We couldn't have asked for a better photography experience!! - Kim 

My husband and I are not very photogenic, so when we were looking for a photographer for our family portrait we knew we needed someone who could help us not look like robots. Ed picked a lovely setting, was fun to work with and the photo session itself went very quickly. We now have family portraits where adults' and kids' personalities really shine through (in the same picture!). I received our photos very quickly afterward. Honestly, Ed deserve 6 out of 5 stars but the rating system would only allow us to give them 5. He is a world class photographer and equally important world class guy.  My fiancée had her heart set on astrophotography engagement photos and the only place offering the service was 3,000 miles away. Ed stepped up to the challenge and delivered amazing one-of-a-kind photos that we will cherish forever.  We cannot say enough kind words for the service he provided us. Ed deserves more than five stars! We asked Ed if he would take our engagement photos - which he agreed to however we requested to take them at sunset down around the National Mall so that we would have our engagement pictures as memories of DC. We couldn't be more pleased with how the photos turned out to include an early morning photo shoot in Hendon along the bike trail with our dog and our love for biking! Ed is very prompt on replying back and always does good work. We would highly recommend him. Thank you again! - Kim
